Implementation of smart classrooms projects in schools across kerala.

Smart classrooms have computers, multimedia projectors, acoustic system and white boards, apart from high-speed Internet connection. More than 300 classrooms of VIII to XII classes in the schools in the district have been made hi-tech.

The infrastructure of the schools has been improved as part of the implementation of the programme. The smart classrooms have been modified with tiled floors and ceiling to ensure a dust-free environment. Necessary measures to ensure security have been made to guard against misuse or theft. The smart classes are equipped with shelf and locker facility, in addition to regular power supply.
